Lufthansa City Center International has announced that they have partnered up with the world's largest ferry ticket booking site, Direct Ferries, to enable their international LCC travel agencies (outside Germany) to book ferry tickets. This partnership will give LCC travel agencies access to the entire Direct Ferries ferry inventory, allowing them to compare and book ferry tickets from over 230 ferry companies via one platform.

“Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, more people are now interested in travelling by ferry as a mode of transportation. Integrating Direct Ferries into our international supplier portfolio is an important add-on for our customers. Our international LCC members can now book ferry tickets covering over 4,000 routes globally via this new cooperation”, states Martina Groenegres, Managing Director Lufthansa City Center International GmbH.

Ido Schiferli, Head of Partnerships at Direct Ferries, commented, “Direct Ferries' easy-to-use travel agent booking portal will help LCC travel agencies to find the best ferry crossing for their customers at the best price. Whether it's a ferry crossing in the Mediterranean, the Channel, Scandinavia, or in Asia, having one place to book all ferry tickets is a fantastic advantage for any travel agency.”
