Frankfurt, 30 March 2022: Lufthansa City Center International (LCCI) names Qatar Airways one of its preferred airlines for 2022. The annual cooperation is designed to promote Qatar Airways and its product to 87 countries of the international network of Lufthansa City Center agencies across the world.

 

Through this cooperation with one of the world’s largest travel agency franchise networks, Qatar Airways continues to display its commitment to the travel agency sales channel. As a part of this cooperation, Qatar Airways offers international Lufthansa City Center agencies (LCC) special discounts on select routes in select cabins. Concurrently, LCCI conducts a range of special activities to create awareness and promote the airline’s product innovations across the agencies.

As Official Airline of the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022™ staged in Qatar towards the end of the year, this cooperation comes at an opportune time for LCC agencies to create special itineraries to take in this footballing spectacle.

With an ideal mix of corporate and leisure agencies, the international Lufthansa City Center network also fits well into the long-term vision of promoting Qatar as a preferred destination for business as well as tourism.
