Frankfurt, 16th February: The global franchise network Lufthansa City Center (LCC) is happy to welcome Reisewelt in Austria as franchisee. Reisewelt AG took over all Blaguss travel agencies in April 2021. This included the Blaguss Lufthansa City Center location in Vienna, LCC member since 2005. With this change in ownership, the local franchisee as of now brands this location as “Reisewelt Lufthansa City Center”, and adds further 38 Reisewelt locations to the network which benefit from the LCC purchasing power and service and product portfolio.

Lufthansa City Center Blaguss located in Vienna has been part of the LCC network as local franchisee since 2005 already. After the take-over in April 2021 by Reisewelt, the travel agency officially rebrands to Reisewelt Lufthansa City Center now, becoming the flagship store of Reisewelt in Austria. The local expert’s team will remain as known to customers and the LCC network, the new website in new branding is available now at lufthansa-city-center.com/en/travel-agency-vienna/reisewelt-vienna/

The change of ownership adds further benefits to the 38 additional Reisewelt branches, which get preferential access to the comprehensive products and services suite offered by Lufthansa City Center, without rebranding to the LCC corporate design and logo. Apart of Reisewelt LCC, the Lufthansa City Center network has seven independent franchisees in Austria located in Vienna, Koblach, Salzburg, St. Pölten, Graz and Klagenfurt.

Martina Groenegres, Managing Director of the international franchise headquarters Lufthansa City Center International (LCCI) states: “The cooperation with Reisewelt in Austria is a tremendous empowerment for Lufthansa City Center, as they add a large local expert’s network specialised in both the corporate and leisure segment to our network in Austria. With Reisewelt LCC; we connect two powerful brands to maximize services and products to our joint customers in Austria and abroad.”
