Driving change, together: Our values in action

At the Lufthansa City Center International Headquarters, a team of 20 individuals collaborates to support our more than 300 travel agencies in 105 countries outside Germany. We have engaged in in-depth discussions to define our identity and the principles we aspire to uphold. The outcome is our four guiding values: Team Spirit, ChangeSustainability, and Diversity, which we present below.

Team Spirit: "One Me - Strong We"

 

We grow collectively, placing collegial interaction at the forefront. We approach each other with tolerance and respect, regardless of hierarchical levels, fostering openness and transparency while sharing our knowledge. Our shared goal is to advance the company and grow together. This involves embracing personal responsibility and self-organization, actively tackling challenges, and promoting team spirit. Our diversity is our strength, and we value each team member. Celebrating successes together and strengthening team cohesion are integral to our approach.

Change: "Anyone who stops improving has stopped being good"

 

We are constantly on the lookout for new ideas and business models. Because we want to take the company forward - on a growth trajectory. This includes constantly scrutinising ourselves and not doing things because we have always done them that way. We expressly allow mistakes. They are a clear part of the learning process. This also includes a transparent dialogue about successes and failures. We keep an eye on the changing requirements of customers and business partners and develop solutions together.

Sustainability: "A responsibility we all share"

 

We embrace responsibility for ecological, economic, and social sustainability, viewing it as a growth lever within our business model and a central element of our corporate culture. This includes acknowledging the impact of our actions on the environment and society, striving to harmonize climate protection with growth. Each individual is committed to the careful use of resources, and in selecting service providers, products, and projects, we consider their social and ecological sustainability.
