For 35 years, Lufthansa City Center has been connecting people with places around the world. Now, we want to help create a place that can shape futures. Together with FLY & HELP and help alliance, we are collecting donations to build a school in Chiwonda, Tanzania. Our goal: creating something that will make a difference for the generations to come, a space where children can learn, grow, and pursue their dreams.

Education has the power to change lives, open doors, and create opportunities for generations to come. This belief is what brings Lufthansa City Center, FLY & HELP, and help alliance together.

Education starts with a place to learn

Through our joint school project, we want to give children in Chiwonda, Tanzania, access to education and the opportunities that come with it.

Together, we are laying the foundation.

The new school is planned in four construction phases. Our shared goal is to fund Phase One, which requires approximately €51,376.

Once the funding is secured, construction can begin. Step by step, a school will take shape, creating new opportunities and brighter prospects for many children.

United forces

Lufthansa City Center initiated the school project, bringing together travel agencies, employees, partners, and customers. Through a wide range of communication activities, LCC supports the project throughout its entire journey, encouraging people across the network to help make the new school a reality.
As the charity organization of the Lufthansa Group, help alliance contributes its long-standing expertise in international development cooperation. It provides the donation platform, activates its network, and supports the project through careful review, ongoing monitoring, and transparent reporting, helping to ensure that the initiative is implemented sustainably and delivers a lasting impact.
FLY & HELP plans and delivers the school construction project together with experienced local partners. Drawing on many years of expertise, the foundation ensures the project is implemented sustainably and provides the groundwork for a successful school build.
