Frankfurt am Main, May 27, 2019 – The experienced corporate travel manager Alexa Haenisch will become the new Lufthansa City Center Divisional Manager of Corporate Travel on July 1, 2019. The 51 year-old manager is currently Head of Account Management at DER Business Travel. She will replace Klaus Schneider at LCC, who has been managing the division on an interim basis.
At the end of the first day of the fifth Lufthansa City Center franchise conference, attending franchise partners were introduced to an important new appointment: LCC CEO Markus Orth presented the new Head of Corporate Travel. “I’m pleased to welcome Alexa Haenisch as a new colleague at LCC. She is an outstanding appointment to head our Corporate Travel Division. With her, we’re convinced that we’re excellently positioned in our core business sector of small and medium-sized companies, as well as on a global level. Alexa Haenisch also brings profound technological knowledge, which is a key success factor with respect to tenders,” Orth explained. In future, Haenisch will report directly to the Managing Director. Markus Orth expressed his particular thanks to Klaus Schneider, who has been leading the Corporate Travel segment on an interim basis.

She gathered comprehensive experience there in various positions – above all in Key Accounts, Sales and Consulting. “I look forward to contributing my expertise in various national and international business-travel fields at LCC, to strengthen its market position and help shape a successful future for the LCC family,” the future Divisional Manager stated.
Along with tourism sales, corporate travel is a key sector at LCC. The franchise system has been offering corporate services since 1995, currently supporting more than 13,500 customers, mainly in the small and medium-sized business sector. Renowned global corporations round off the customer portfolio.
